London Small Press Expo

So the expo is coming up on the 12th of March and my comics haven't arrived yet. Should have ordered them earlier but hey what you gonna do? Well . . . order them earlier next time. We live and learn. I have now finished the posters which I will be giving away there. I think it looks better than the comic itself. Think I may have pinned down a better way of working. Sorry that the next one will be so much better really. Maybe one day will see these times as the Golden age of JF Hero Arts, maybe.
I produced this poster mainly in Adobe Illustrator with the small comic strip at the bottom free hand with my wacom tablet in Photoshop. I've used the same block colouring for these smaller images and the built in fill on illustrator for the main image. I like it, it's smooth. It's quite a long process though so I'm not sure how time effective it would be to produce the whole thing in illustrator but I can only have a go.
Is there a programme which will vectorize an image which you can then edit? If Toon Boom can vectorize why can't Illustrator? or can it? Am I just missing something?

thanks for listening

bye
